i'd like to get some new rims and i'm going back and forth on the finish.

i'm leaning towards the Z06 C6 style (or something like it) DD and can't decide to go black or gunmetal.

My car is a 2000 black firebird vert.

i've also seen some black chrome rims, but am having trouble finding them in the 5x4.75 bolt pattern....i'll keep looking though.

    any thoughts?

Go for the gunmetal. It looks dope.

Black chrome first, then gunmetal, then black.

Not really sure why they're called hyperblack. These are "hyperblack"

thanks for the pic and the description.

                good to know.

i'm having trouble with the black chrome, so i might just go with the gunmetal with either a machined or chrome DD lip. Just kickin' around some ideas.

Hyperblack apparently only comes in the c6 style wheels from the website I ordered them. They do have c6 Z06 wheels in gunmetal though. I do love my hyperblack c6 wheels though. I'm curious how they'd look on a bird.
Here are some Z06 wheels specifically but look around on that website, they've got great prices and they made me real happy.

btw, Hyper Black. The finish on this wheel is achieved through several different phases. The finishing process begins with a black powder coat foundation. This is followed by a translucent silver which allows the black foundation to become visible through the silver, producing the color hyper black. The final stage consists of two layers of clear coat. This wheel has a very professional appearance.

Interesting. So I was right but had the colors backwards. Either way, much better than silver!

I thought you were right too till I read that again. That's straight from their website. They've got descriptions of how they make all of their finishes.
