so my parts car had the ta side skirts and the ta lower valance bumper on it. i took the skirts off and they are currently at the shop being painted, the bumper valance will be there in the am. however im finding it very hard to get the brackets for the side skirts off it. the bumper brackets were easy! drilled them right out.

think i can get away with double sided tape and the tabs for the skirts? they will be bolted at both ends in the fender wells along with tabs underneath. just will not have the side brackets to hold them up along the length of the door. also if not does anyone know how much the brackets are?

    thoughts?

are you talking about the ones that are riveted to the body? If drilling the rivets out doesn't work, you could just try grinding them off with a dremel or grinder and if you mess up the holes in the brackets doing this, then you can just drill new ones near the original ones...

I used double sided tape for my aftermarket kit and it didn't hold up so well... and I used the expensive 3M stuff, so you might have a better experience than me, but I wouldn't recommend it...

ya i got riveted pieces off the bumper without a problem. the underneath of the door is the issue. didnt think to grind em off. but if i screw the holes up i can just make new holes huh. that may be an idea. thanks!
