  • Shorty Antennas? Check this out!

Hey guys, I recently made a trip to my local Autozone and picked up a shorty antenna for like 10 bucks, its quick and easy to install, dont have to buy an expensive one offline, and still works with the radio. Heres a picture of it as you can see on the back of my Camaro. Great appearance mod for only $10

That does look better than some others I've seen. I still like mine the most though.

Some people don't like them at all. Guess its all a matter of personal preference.

That looks smaller than my car's little 3.5" stubby. Not too bad. (No pics, sorry).

I like the Shark GR, I wish I would of had them fill in mine when I had them paint it last year, now its just the screw with a vac. plastic cover on it , looks like a power antenna. But I have a FM booster singal with a inside antenna running to the top of the roof. Still gets a decent singal with the FM booster, but I don't listen to the radio at all anymore , just my 32GB USB drive with about 700 songs on it and put about 20-50 songs a week on it. I figure it can save about 500,000 to 1,000,000 songs on it and the Alpine deck will just put them into folders automatically or you can do it A-Z by artist or by song. Pretty cool, like the ulitimate CD changer.LOL

That's a pretty sweet setup. I have something like that in my Buick, I have all my music on an 8GB card right now. I'm guessing I've got 12-1500 songs on it, but the navigation isn't as nice as you make yours sound. I went with Clarion because it looked stock and had built in bluetooth and usb and all that, but I don't think I'll be buying another Clarion deck in the future.

And like you, I don't listen to the radio hardly at all, but it does work decently when I do as the shark fin has a built in fm-booster. It also doubles as a satellite radio/GPS antenna if I need it.
