  • hood allignment?

I put my fibreglass ss hood on today, looks sweet except the driver side front of the hood is about a half inch above the fender, and the pass side is about hafl an inch below. Is there any way to fix this? I was thinking about putting hood pins on to hold the one side down, and putting washers under the other side to raise it up. Also is there any way to soften the spring for the hood release (the one you pop from inside the car), its really hard to close the hood I feel like I'm gonna break it when I go to close it.

There are tons of adjustment points built into the hood hinges. You may need to cut the slots longer in them to get the hood where it needs to be.
