No one believes that it was a factory paint job. SOM looks amazing on fbodies, it changes so much based on the lighting. In the sun it is a golden orange, whereas in the shade its a bit more of a maple red.

If going blue why not the deep GM Blue they had on their trailblazers or I think it was on their trucks. But theirs nothing wrong with GM black ,they still use the same black from 96' to 2010, even on their Corvettes, I think paint code is like W8777.

SOM is the best F-body color. I've gotten so many compliments on my car just because of the color. People that don't even like Camaros say they love my car. Unfortunately, mine has a lot of scratches and somebody keyed my hood which I still haven't had money to get fixed.

I really don't like that my truck is GM black. GM black turns brown, and looks like crap pretty quick. Were you referring to the blue on the Trailblazer SSes?

Yes, the deep blue I believe. I love GM black after its washed and waxed its the best, but hard to keep clean.

Honda's Electron Blue Pearl. It flip flops very nicely.

gotta go with a +1 on this one. a friend of mine painted his foxbody this color.... amazing!
