Still need to finish fitting it. It's amazing I get anything done on the car at all working 80 hours a week.

I just wanted something to clear my lid. What do you think I should use to fill up the space? It's pretty healthy already.

Ah. I was just thinking you were preparing for a twin screw or something. It's all N/A now, right?

I love cowl hoods. You could hard line a mechanical fuel gauge in the scoop if you dont already have a WB. Its amazing how many little imperfections you can find on a new fiberglass hood when you get out the bondo. Its not too often you see multiple windows in a garage; or did you park in your living room?

Looks good. Whats the weight savings, if any with that hood vs the stock metal?
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

This is more of a drag car, i'd go Turbo before Twin Screw. I do currently have nitrous, just haven't hammered it yet. Tuning sucks.

Nope, it's the garage. 2 and a half cars of pure awesomeness. I'm not running any gauges in the scoop. I'll have a wideband soon enough.

Well, I just bought it 2 days ago. So I haven't even thought about that yet. Actually, the whole car needs to be painted, and I still need to find a passenger door, so after that.

Stock hoods around 50lbs, this is around 13lbs. I'll get some better pics after work. My car is riding high in the front with all this weight out. And I'm gonna take more!

im gunna revive this...if you were to drive that car in the rain, would that allow water into the engine bay? or would it be pretty hard for that to happen?

It would be pretty difficult for that to happen. The rear of the cowl is open, but the angle would probably keep most water out. My car lives in a garage though, and I don't think it's seen rain since I put the hood on.
