I dunno maybe you did yours a little better than he did but it's pretty easy to tell if a car was DIY spray painted. Matte black is cool tho... just the execution needs work.
Yeah I'm still scratching my head as to why he spent money on a hood instead of a repaint.

I would go with the stock hood and sell that one for a SS or if you don't want to go with everyones elses SS hoods then check out VNF for the Sunco hoods or a 2.5" cowl or 4" cowl , Bird of Prey's hood looks bad@ss on his LS1 thats what I would go with if I got rid of this SS hood. Those hoods look better on Firebirds.

I thought the exact same thing. Then I was wrong. :( It's not that bad though. It could be worse.

Uhh... I don't think this board is the right place to fish for compliments on that.

Yeah, I still have it on my car. Hence my earlier post about not wanting to be associated with this.

Not my cup of tea, but I don't think it looks terrible. Could certainly look a lot worse. I'm curious to see how it would look with a replacement front valance and an RS spoiler.

Steves car can barely pull it off, and he has a 98+ car, nice paint, and other tasteful mods. I happen to really like his car. But the bow tie up front, the missing gfx and it being on a 96 just makes it look weird. But I like the L-88 hood...

Sorry the OP wasted money on his hood. I would barf if I ever seen that in person.

wait wait wait, i know i said in his other thread that they are fugly but (in my best charles barkley voice) "thats not turrible"
maybe its cause those damn blue stripes are gone but i must say that looks a lot better.

                                and now for some questions:
-why hood pins? whats that hood made of?
-when are you gonna get the front gfx? i would have spend my money on that before the hood.
-you spent time making those lights for the stock hood scoops are you gonna put them in the ws6 hood?
                                -ram air?
