I have the stock ones, and I just could never see myself using them... I like seeing the sun/rain... Ya I have read a lot of people like having the shades, and some don't. I enjoy being able to see through the t-tops when the sun isn't out, but during the afternoon is when I do most of my driving the the sun mixed with the heat coming through the glass is uncomfortable.Comment

When I originally set out to buy another 4th gen, I wanted a hard top but got such a deal on my t-top that I didn't want to pass it up.Comment

I'm sure someone would trade you cars. Also, you may consider buying a targa top conversion from 6litereater designs. They look really cool, and would make it essentially a 'hard top'. Thanks for the information.. a targa top would be very cool! Sometimes I toy around with the idea of buying an '87-92 Supra non-turbo with a targa top, but then I realize that I don't need so many toys.
As for my Camaro, I'm happy with it and don't plan on doing many modifications. It's a weekend cruiser that me and my wife take out for ice cream or occasionally drive to work when the weather is nice. She keeps complaining about the sun blinding her through the t-tops and I feel the same way.. hence the purchase of the super awesome shades. Lol.Comment

i rarely use my shades as i am too lazy to fit them on right when i put the ttops back on. the stock velcro melted off so they just kinda sit thereComment

Shades are good, esp. if you live in Calif. like me. Where today it was 115*. Imagine without those shades my interior and my head would be cooking.
