I am tossing the idea around, and curious to see some of yours. I know this has been done before, but this site is kinda dead so I'm mostly posting to liven it up instead of digging through old @ss threads. Here she sits. Any before and afters?

Re: Should I remove side molding?
My '96 didn't come with the BSM option, but my folks just picked up a nicely loaded '99 that has them. I'd say they go good with a car that has the factory ground effects, but aren't as necessary on one without the full appearance package. But, either way would still look good.
BTW, sharp Camaro! It appears you retrofitted '93-96 tail lights?
Here's mine from a few years back:

Re: Should I remove side molding?
You might try taking the tail panel off and checking out/replacing/re-seating the clips that hold the bumper cover up. I'm guessing the extra weight from the GFX is pulling some of the clips out just a tad. IIRC there are like 4 or 5 clips right under the tail panel that hold it up.

Re: Should I remove side molding?
I removed the side molding on my old black 1996 Z-28. I looked much better without it until I found a couple of dings in my door. If you tend to park next to other vehicles I wouldn't recommend it.

Re: Should I remove side molding?
IMO, door moldings look a lot better than dents and dings.
There's also a small chance that you could pull off some of the paint with the moldings or the paint under the moldings might be a slightly different shade (think farmer's tan), so I'd leave them on until it's time for a new paint job.2001 white Firebird (completely stock)

2003 Civic LX sedan for my daily commute. 115 hp (Yes, pathetic, but gets me 36 mpg!)
