  • Sun Visor replacement

What would be a good replacement for the stock sunvisors? Something not as flimsy or weak. Maybe from another gm model? What about the leather sunvisors from 2nd gen cars? Could those be made to fit?

I bought a new headliner and matching sunvisors from this place. I was very happy with the quaility and fit.

120 is quite a bit for sun visors...I'll keep the link though, seems interesting for stock interiors.

Yeah, $120 is bit too much.

          Re: Sun Visor replacement

I'm not sure if 2nd or 3rd gen sunvisors will work on a fourth gen. The installation will likely be different but with a little engenuity and fabrication it could be done.

As for the 4th gen sunvisors, you will notice a bend or crease on the side of each visor. That bend or crease is there to allow the flap to hang down because of the pillar/roof design. This crease, combined with what I believe is just cardboard wrapped in fabric, makes for a very bad sunvisor.

Have you looked into stripping the fabric off of your current sunvisors and having an upholstery shop wrap them in leather or vinyl? They would be much better quality over stock fabric.

Damm $120 for sun visors, do they tell you , you look pretty when you look into the mirror part? J/K LOL GTP's have some nice visors so do most of the Buick/Pontiac sedans.

              Consider removing them. Sunglasses ftw.

I would definitely remove them, but I use a sun shade whenever I'm not in the car. Texas is hot. And sunny.
