      Re: Couple updates

What is the difference in weight between OEM carpet and regular carpet? Does it hold up as well and how much does it cost?

I was considering replacing the original gray carpet in my car for black. I found out that YearOne.com sells it for about $250 or so. Money is getting tight so I might have to wait a bit..

BTW, clear corners always look clean on a NBM f-body. Excellent choice man!

I did my carpet about 5 years back , I would say with the extra padding about 20-30LB difference. But it didn't matter for me anyways since I went ahead and put Dead mat in the whole interior. LOL But I went from the graphite to black and I like it alot better. Looks good, need to get the rear side markers blacked-out.

They are blacked out and match the fronts, except they fogged up. I need to silicone them.

I see, mine did the same on some flashes where my blackout rears looked like stock still but they were blackout like my front ones , good job then.

OEM carpet weights about 50-60lbs, this stuff weighted about 5lbs.

Already did. Installed QA1's on friday night. Only dropped it about 1.5 inches, but netted me a 1.51 60'. I'm good with that.
