  • Tan Leather Seats?

I'm thinking about buying some new seats for my firebird, and I found a set of tan leather seats from a trans am. Do you think the tan leather would not look good on a silver car? The rest of the interior is the stock grayish color. Do any of you all have a silver car with tan leather seats? I've tried searching for pics of this combination but came up short..

I've never seen that combo before which means it probably wasn't an option. IMO it wouldn't look bad if you replaced the carpet and headliner with either tan or black.. but tan and gray would look horrible.

Tan and black would look scrumptious.

I personally never liked the tan seats. They just dont look good in f-bodies imo.

I would get the same color as the rest of the interior. A lot easier than changing all kinds of stuff.

Unless you buy the whole interior and swap everything over, don't. Tan and grey aren't exactly complimentary. Tan and black does look nice though.

Thanks for all the responses! I think I'll pass on the tan seats after all.. I spent some time looking at my car today and decided that I would have to change a heck of a lot to make it look decent. Foremost, I would have to replace my $300 Lloyd floor mats and thats one thing I'm not prepared to do!

I wouldn't go with a Tan interior at all. Its a lot of work and maintaince for up keep and a lot of the times the leather looks like crap after a few years.

I was gonna buy a pair for my 96 but I have a set of Enzo seats that I had from my kitcar build that I plan on using. They are black and leather and look very nice.
