I got them in like four days ago and thought i was homefree on the condensation issue... until today. I used silicone on them and they still condensed. Any more suggestions? The bulbs are in and i even rtv'd around them. Here's a quick pic. I know the rears aren't in the pic but you get the idea.

Re: new black front and rear markers...
Oh and i put 6000k 42 led towers in the drls and 6000 k leds in the 194 slot. Problem is the 3157 isn't really bright but i guess ill live with it. Wish i got brighter ones.#1:1999 pewter metallic y87 rs A4 camaro.check out the pics on the link below
#2:Bright red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Brand new 400 cubic inch Pontiac Motor. Re: new black front and rear markers...
Would drilling a hole in the bottom of the housings keep the water and condensation out and allow a little air to get in?
I did that to my stock amber markers and I never seen condensation in them anymore.
They do look good though. Your car is sharp!!

Re: new black front and rear markers...
Thanks Joe, and Dan. I figured out the problem and it went away completely. I am not a huge fan of the rear bumper lights because they have a pattern in the plastic lens that makes it look funny so I'll probably nightshade the rears very slightly.#1:1999 pewter metallic y87 rs A4 camaro.check out the pics on the link below
#2:Bright red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Re: new black front and rear markers...
Eh I have smoked rear corners and the design isnt really noticible from a distance and thats all that matters. *shrug*
What was the problem btw? For those that search for the same answer and fix. Nice Camaro. :)-Jarred '70 Pontiac LeMans | '89 Firebird Formula 350

Re: new black front and rear markers...
The problem was as follows....
First and foremost, run silicone around the lens. Everyone should know that. Secondly, put some silicone around where each bulb plugs in. I had to take the LED's out of the 3157 slot because they don't generate enough heat for the next step. I put sylvania silverstar 3157's in and removed the rubber cap from the back. I just let it run for a while, the himidity level inside the lenses are not the same as outside, so they generate condensation. I left the rubber caps off for a day or so so it had plenty of circulation and all the condensation disappeared. I had this problem when I retrofitted the projectors in my headlights. They were brand new and it needed to breathe for a while to bring the inside humidity level up to the outsides humidity level. I know it sounds strange... but I forgot to do that this time till now.#1:1999 pewter metallic y87 rs A4 camaro.check out the pics on the link below
#2:Bright red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am.
