I did my 94 TA and loved the look so I just did my 1999 TA.

I may do the 2001 Firebird, with the W68 it looks to busy with the molding.

Hate to sound stupid, but what molding? I don't know what you're talking about...

It runs along the side of your car,it protects the doors and 1/4 panel from other peoples carelessness(door dings)

Its plastic and stuck on with 2 way tape.

I see. I see. That does look kinda stupid on Camaro's. But how do you get rid of the residue from the tape??

Scrape off all you can with your thumbnail then use a rag with some WD40 to get rid of the rest.

Then wash your panel right away.

                      Would some rubbing alcohol work?

It doesn't work well on glue residue.

WD40 is safe just wash the panel after.

Take your time with it. Do the smaller pieces first, that way you can make sure the paint is fine and you can figure out the best way to do it. I got 3/4 of mine off in 5 minutes, only struggled with a small section.

And I've heard that floss or fishing line works well to easily get it off.
