Orderd a black convertible light bar for my car about a week back. Should be here in a week or so. Whats all your opinions on them? When its installed i will post pics. Its going to look sick on my car and for $580 it better lol.
I agree- spend the money on a new paintjob, I think those light bars are pointless, if they provided support in a roll over then yes thats a good investment but christ repaint that car hahaha

EVERYONE im going to in the next year once im out of high school and kids wont mess with it as much k and I still have another $600 or so going into the body before i paint it. SO just calm down on the paint thing it looks way better than when i purchased it.
were just giving you our feedback and experience, stop throwing the fact that you are in high school and 17 in our faces, we were there at one point, in the same position you are.
I started off with a stock f-body as well, in terrible condition, and began saving money to fix and do small things to it and get it where it is today.
If I could go back, I would probably not do a lot of what I did to the car and I'm sure other members here feel the same way. That's why were continuously capping on you, we've been there before man.

that is true he does but certain things come before paint on my car. once my car is painted i wanna make sure it wont get keyed or scratched or vandalized so thats why im waiting till im out of school and away from all those kids who are jealous and just wanna ruin my car. It happens everyday with this paint job i dont want it to happen with a expensive sick one.
Just go for it man. I remember back then when this site first started I wanted to get a hood and many members here said I shouldn't because it wasn't a V8, but went for it anyway.
Why is it that typical "Ricer mentality" is to buy a ton of un needed parts that never get completly installed or finished before they start buying something else that "looks fast" ?
Instead of all that silly blue stuff you tossed in there and the hood and spoiler, I would of got a basic macco paint job for $250 so it looks decent untill i had the money to fix the car right.
