So my tires have come to the time of being replaced. If I get only new tires, I would have to get them mounted and balanced which would be like $200 and tires would be $450 plus shipping so like $750. Is it worth spending the extra 250 to get this package.
^^ probably 5 bucks each wheel, which would be 20 for the whole car as it would just be balancing, not mounting.
But yeah, not sure where you're looking at that wants to charge $50 a wheel to mount and balance. But if you want different wheels, go for that package. Realize though, that Sumitomo tires are not generally regarded as horrible, but are not high end tires.
You'll also need lug nuts, since they would be exposed no, which aren't as cheap as you might think.
I had Sumitomo's on my stocks and they were pretty damn good for the price.Check Tirerack.com too. You should be able to get a better deal for just tires.Unless your going high end.Tires aren't cheap no matter what way you look at it.
Well I have the monies now. I just would love to have 17 inch zr1's with 315's out back. Which would be $1000 plus a lifetime alignment from firestone. Or pay almost a grand and get just some nice 245's all the way around.
I mean I spent the monies to lower my car and have done bushings and balljoints. So I am on the fence what would yall do. (drunkkk post)
i use thoes tires i have the same rims but black, the tires are about the best bang for your buck, when you get into 11in wide rims you have limited choice wit tires

you are running 245s a 9.5" wide rim? Why, thats a waste, 245s/255s can be ran on stocker wheels.
