Who has painted stockers?

I was going to paint my stockers today since today's my day off from work but I starting having second thoughts. If you have painted yours, show some pics (espically if you have the maro 5 spokes).

I was going to paint my stockers, but i think i will upgrade to 17's soon and sell the stockers as they came from factory, i figure they retained more value.

I have the same stickers as you. But I haven't seen too
Many done up nicely. I've considered powder coating mine white or black with my white car. But I I'm thinking I will just jump on some 17's

Yeah, I think I'm going to buy my neighbors spare Firebird wheels, and do the smoked chrome look.

Crazed, that's exactly how I want to do mine, black but keep the lip silver. How did you tape the lip?

I used electrical tape, but in retrospect, blue painters tape prolly would have worked better.

Would it be easier to make the curve with painters tape?
I had two of my rims taped off with electrical tape but it looked like was wavy, you know what I mean? I got discouraged cause I thought it was going to be really noticeable. How long did it take you to get them completed, from prepping to final product?

I've done it with masking tape, painters tape, and electrical tape, and electrical tape was by far the easiest and yielded the best results. You just have to be careful with the curve and make sure it's all very clean and dry.

Did you have any waveness to it? Like did it look like a straight line around the lip or did it look wavy up close, thats what threw me off and made me put it on hold.

Quasar Blue Metallic It's a stock color.
