Did you have any waveness to it? Like did it look like a straight line around the lip or did it look wavy up close, thats what threw me off and made me put it on hold.

Looks near perfect unless you're starring at it from less than a foot or two. Just be slow and methodical and you can get it very nice. At least if there is a bit of wave it won't be too noticeable if it's close. With non-flexible tapes you'll have edges which look much much worse.
