Re: Quick little photo shoot for my graduation photos!

    1. as much as i dont care for your car or taste, as said - its slowwwwwwwwwwwly getting better and slightly more acceptable

    2. if u just had a stock spoiler, stock ss spoile, an ultra z wing or something like that your rear end would actually be rather nice.

    3. in the end, you have been doing all the work you say you want to which i give you props for. I am curious to see where it eventually goes. As for 500rwhp - your looking at a $10,000+ MOTOR (which you have never spelled correctly lol - read ur old posts) and something that has never been done before on a V6 camaro even when attemped by reputable performance shops with multiple team members, huge budgets and a wealth of knowledge.

    But good luck!

i understand completely, but i think this wing really does look goos with the convertible, now hard tops it looks disgusting.

And as far as the motor i have a expert building it. He has been building motors all his life, on and off the strip motors. And for the past twenty years has been building dirt track cars, with beast motors. Yes those are v8's, but he knows how to make a sick motor. Whether its from painting the oil gallys for better oil flow, to getting comp cams t custom grind the perfect cam that will give me the most hp possible. And to port matching the headers, to the heads, to the lower intake, to the upper intake. Also i have the empire engines shop working on it and ordering all the performance parts for the engine top of the line.

After the motor is done then im buying a racing 4l60e with everything possible on it ( i dont know all the names for everything) with a stall, then adjustable shocks and spring, then swapping to a 4 wheel disk brake and totally re build that differnecial with different gears (Thats his doing i have know idea about that yet) This car will be totally raced out once im done with is and he is sure of the 681 hp, im pretty sure thats not to the wheels of course, but the motor will have around that horse power.

Also for the turbo side everyone was right that $450 mark i set, it was not good enough for me. Im just going to go all out on this car once with either a gt35 or gt40 turbo, HKS SSQV BOV, Tial wastegate, already have the intercooler, electric boost controller, already have boost guage, wide band, HP tuners, In car lap top, 62 lbs injectors, All top of the line stuff just saying lol

Even if it does make anywhere near that power, your going to blow out the rear end as soon as you get on it. As for the thing on the back, that is horrid and will never look good.

I can just see it now... "Watch this!" Power braking... nail the accelerator, RPM's shoot up... BANG! "Shiiiiiiiit."

When it's done are you going to get it dyno'd? Although it sounds like this build will take longer than Steve's...

Your not gonna make 500+HP with a 3800 Turbo.

Not unless your planning on spending at least 5k on the motor and maybe another 3k on everything else and by then you would have broken even with the cars overall cost.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Stock L26 bottom, ported heads and a big cam with a good turbo set up will get there no problem.

Hell I'm going to go for 500whp on the STOCK CAM.

andrew doesnt make crap right now lol his car is all apart. every time im over at his place i try to get him to put it back together but no luck. our local track closed down recently, but from what i understand someone is trying to buy it. if that falls through he really has no motivation. but yes less than 500 but runs a retarded time in the 1/4

His car was down when I was at his house a year ago! And yes, Gateway needs to get opened back up because it's the only 1/4 mile track around for four hours.

                                It is definitely looking better.

My own taste is that the wing and the lambo doors detract from the look of the car. But that's just my 2 cents - & I did not even have the decency to chip in 2 cents! You decide what you like.

What job will you be doing after graduation (you mentioned working 40 hours)? Do you have plans for further education or specialized trade skills?

Best wishes on your project car.
