  • Hatch Struts

My hatch struts went bad and won't hold it open anymore. I've found
lots of them on line but not sure which ones to get. Just wondering if
anyone knows which brand is better (stronger, lasts longer) or if they
are all about the same? I've found them as cheap as $18/ea up to about
    $45/ea.

Anyone have any input? Thanks in advance.

    Re: Hatch Struts

I just bought a set of Sachs brand hood and hatch struts for my Z car. I like them so far and they come with a lifetime warranty. Rockauto had the best prices from what I could find, so give that a try.

Looks like those are $20 per strut with a lifetime warranty. Not too bad if you use the Rockauto 5% discount code.
