Just when I finally achived the look I wanted for the car the rims grind on the car.
I'm just going to sell the car. I'm tired of going through the BS that nothing works with this car and parts are freakishly expensive and extremely difficult to install them.
I'm going to buy a Fiero, MR2 or 300ZX Z32.
you bought rims that didnt fit, cause they were from an 80's model f body...so now your going to sell the car...sounds like user error to me.

2000 Firebird- Intake, Pacesetters, !cat, full 2.5 to flowcrapster, 1.9 rockers, LS6 springs and Intense modded retainers, WS6 speedlines, T/A bumpers and hatch, 5 spd swapped, SOON TO BE nitrous'd and cammed.
If you're that easily put off by modding this car, I don't think you're going to be happy modding any car.
Any interference is more than likely just rubbing on the calipers. A simple file or dremel will solve your problem with little effort and you can have the wheels you want. I even had to do some grinding on my Vette wheels to get them to fit on the hubs. Took all of 10 extra minutes and they fit just peachy now.
Here's what my car looks like with the snowflakes on.
Honestly, Minimal grinding on the caliper carriers needed to get them to fit. Like 2mm or something, if that. Just off the edge of the carriers too. Just get those IROC wheels sorted and on the car :)
I really like the wheels and stance it gives the car.

That's EXACTLY what I want to do. I need to get hold of a spare nose to widen the headlight openings. I already have a spare rear panel that I have removed the camaro indentation and embossed Pontiac in it's place. Thats at the spray shop getting painted at the minute. I've been looking on eBay for the door handle fillers that you normally find on a 3rd gen but can't seem to get any.
