I bought some yesterday and will be installing them asap. Yes they are black out sides with blue inserts (to match the car ) but they should look pretty sweet once done. will post pics when i can.

imo...racing seats in a car that is slow or isn't an award winning show car is a BIG waste of money. now if you put a 5 point harness in there also, you deserve to have your camaro hit by a jetplane

Yup gt45 turbo running 8 pounds daily and much more when ever i want/ fully forged motor, custom cam, performance transmission, new rear end,

I want them for not only looks/ for the many car shows im in. But also cause i do have a convertible, and if that thing rolls (My fault or just getting hit) im also putting a roll cage that the harnesses will hook up to. Plus the stock faded grey seats Ewwwwww!

I went with corbeau sport seats recently. Not really racing seats but glass good replacement for stock seats... unique what brand did you get? Just some no names or what?

Yeah i saw yours a while back, and those are very clean for the car. The ones i got are black on the out side blue inside with the 2 holes up top for the harnesses. No their not sparco, momo, or bride. ( i cant afford to spend that kind of money for seats when im doing a turbo build.) But their also not the cheap japan ones, these are coming straight out of california, not sure tha brand but will let you know when i know.

So thats what mine looks like now, The dash all painted, blue lights every where, gauge inlay and what color are the seats faded grey! Now imagine racing seats almost same color blue inside black out side just completes the interior. :rock:

BTW this picture was taken a long time ago i know longer have those gauges in the gauge pod, theirs two new gauges in the lower switch panel, theirs a huge tach on the dash, my shift plate has blue around it, and of course i have the 7 inch lcd tv monitors now.

let me say it a differnt way....FAST car, not modded car. sorry but your car isn't ever going to be under 10 seconds.

well considering people freak out and are amazed by my car and its only still a spray paint job, says alot on how far this car could go when its done. Also did i ever say i wanted to win any car shows???? Nope i just like showing off what ive created and what ive done to this car. When people take pictures of my car, complement me, and are impressed thats all i need (Yes a medal or trophy would be nice but is not needed) Cars are my passion, whether or not someone else likes what ive done is fine with me as long as i like it myself.

And if i wanted a ten second car i would have got a supra, ls1, 5.0, or a 454. just saying. Im just having fun with my first car ive owned and its come a long way and you cant say its not pretty nice from where its come from

Unique, you're really doing a good job with everything. Not exactly to my taste but the work you've put into it is showing. Just do something with that electrical tape, lol.

I still don't see any problem with putting racing seats in it. If you can relate this.. I put corvette wheels on my maro and it doesn't go as fast a vette.

Unique, Im sure you'll be happy with the look of the racing seats, but just a forewarning: they are going to sit higher than the stock seats. Mine sat so much higher that I ended up adapting the stock seat sliders to the aftermarket seats. I think the seats I have are APC'S. On the plus side you do have a convertible.

Just do something with that electrical tape, lol.

I just caught the fact that the stripes are actually electrical tape. I hope Letzride doesnt see this or he'll be taping up his car. JK :P

I got Spearco seats and they fit like stock seats, I bought their sliders so they would fit like stock and they did.
