    Re: Racing Seats

I have a pair of enzo seats in mine.

I just recently put them and love them MUCH better than the stockers.

i give you credit for doing what you want to your car, but i don't see it winning car shows. sorry

I think for what the kid has done is very respectable whether or not people approve. Before I thought he was a joke but id honestly say its legit. Sure he doesn't have a legit paintjob but for what he's done with it so far being his first car you can't go wrong. Not everyone wants to drop in big bucks into a V6, For me, I was facing $4,300 to convert my car from that nasty grey to black. I said Screw it and researched the "Rustoluem paint job" bought some stuff from harbor freight, walmart and shirwin williams and painted the car myself and I think I did a fair job although my sanding skills suck. If people don't like my blue rims I say F em. I didn't build the car for them anyways.

Now I will agree with you 100% that it will never run 9's unless he's prepared to spend at least 10k on the engine and tranny alone which would be extremely pointless on a car like this one. It would all depend on what kind of car show he attends. I know guys who win car shows with a stock POS caddillac with 25 inch rims and a sorry *** walmart stereo system it's possible he could win that but if its like on a professional level than different story.

this is a website....and everyone has their own taste. everyone is free to voice what that taste is. that is all i did. and just like everyone else, i could careless about what other people think. also i did give the kid props for doing what he has done. i never said, dude your car looks like a pile of pooh, and i never would do that to anyone who is putting their best foot foward.

i personally love racing seats and a 5 point harness. but if your car isn't fast enough, i think u just look silly. it's like having a gauge pod and instead of having a gauge in there you have the autometer clock. it's a waste of money.

I just caught the fact that the stripes are actually electrical tape. I hope Letzride doesnt see this or he'll be taping up his car. JK :P
Im custom making the seat brackets not buying them so i can put the seats as high or low as i want them. (Advantage to have a complete machine and welding shop at my desposal ALL FREE)

And the electrical tape is gone just wanted to see how it would look with the side stripes, and i like them so im painting them soon,

I dont wanna sound like a ****. But if you took your original investment, modification investment combined and rode your bike to school and work for the entirety of having this car. You could have had something nice. My bad man but exterior is zero performance. I mean you could have like stranos agx's and zr1's with some race rubber!

Throw up a pick, and was there a solid place to install because I want those exact seats really bad.
