ArmorAll Wipes

Got ArmorAll Wipes as a gift, and scrubbed down the dash in the 95 Z28 I just bought.

After drying, and in daylight, you can tell where I rubbed hard, leaving fadded swirls in the grey plastic...

Any remedy for this? May be cleaner, but the dash looks worse!

Get the spray armor all, those wipes don't leave consistent lubrication so you have to use a lot of them. Especially if your dash has been in the sun before you use them. You're putting armorall on your dash btw, not sanding it to prep for paint or anything.

tks, yep, was just cleaning the dash, no prep. But the swilling color fade is ugly...
will apply turtle interior shine tonite

I hate the preloaded wipes for anything. Usually if I get them for free I will double or triple them up so that there is a lease a little cushion to help apply it smooth.

But normally I just use a folded microfiber and Leather cleaner on the Monte and Interior ICE in the Camaro.

microfiber towel and the meguiars supreme shine protectant works good for me its almost makes it look oily but is smooth to the touch

I dont put any of that other crap on our cheap *** plastic. Form what i hear, any kind of armor all spray or wipe is only gonna make it worse.
