  • Shaving ashtray

I'm thinking about shaving the ashtray from my center console. The spring is broken so it doesn't stay shut and I just don't use it. What do you guys think?

Yeah that was just the first coat of paint. I'm gonna sand it still and add a few more coats.

I would of thrown some switches in it.

I had switches in the ashtray before and I didn't like them there. I put them on the other side of the shifter.

Interesting. Looks/going to look clean too. I just ditched the lid on mine.

It's lookin ok. Still have some coats and sanding to do but so far pretty good. I'm thinking it looks too plain though. I might have to put switches there or something.

Didn't come out too bad. Still working on it, just hate driving without it in.

Just bondo. I'm not too good at fiberglass. Kinda afraid to try it and it turn out bad.
