  • Ram air hood vs. Stock with decal

So I am in a dilemma. Do I stay with my stock 2000 firebird hood that has no vents on it with a firebird/TA fire chicken decal OR do I get the ram air trans am type cowl-like vented hood? The latter is much more expensive but may look better. Any opinions?

Trans Am hood = Formula Hood = Firebird V6 hood.

WS6 hood = Ram air hood

Dang venom, you had to bring this to my attention didn't you? :P. Anyone have any ideas on how to get a cheaper hood ws6 hood like that? I looked online and they're <=$1000.

I'm unsure what a raptor hood is. And with that shaker scoop the thing says it cannot be used with a stock hood. Is it just meaning you need to put the hole there? Because it lists off other hoods that can be used.. they're all cowl/ram air hoods.

I'd go raptor. That really looks good. Clean lines. Smooth transition. Looks good!
