I'm sure they're very light. I cannot imagine what would happen if you got hit though... Would it be like breaking a composite hockey stick? Just shards of material everywhere?
In America's Hat!
1997 Camaro 30th 'vert... GT1 cam/C6 wheels/Flowmaster/HIDs/Viper 2 way alarm/Alpine audio mods up the wazoo
2005 Equinox LT... mostly stock daily/Thule snowsports roof system/sound + interior mods
those have been around for a couple years. seen a couple camaro's with them online... you can almost get carbon fiber everything!
ive seen front fender, rear fender, hood, hatch, doors, rear bezel, door panels, that piece that goes over the top before the T-Top & T-Top covers, all carbon fiber!
Wait, Is that a V6 or V8? 1990 Chevrolet C-K 1500 series 4.3L .. 5spd
1994 JDM Euno Roadster 1.8L 5spd Bolt Ons.. etc 2000 Camaro 3.8L Auto Bolt Ons..etc
They probably don't have the inside crash bars with them. Considering how crappy our side impact rating is already, I wouldn't want them on a street car. Our doors have a composite skin anyway.
I've looked into it. Pretty much race car only stuff. You'd need to run lexan windows, which won't go down. Highly impractical and I don't think they fit that well.
are you sure you would need to run lexan windows? (not that Im looking to run these...just thought it was neat) It looks like it has all the factory cutouts in it...like you could just place your manual/power regulators etc etc etc inside and away you go?
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
