Had to get a new drivers mirror and needed to paint the little thing
so I bought a 8oz can of "perfect match" for my black 2000 Camaro.
Paint dried like a semi-gloss. Called the company & they gave me
all kinds of excuses.
A person could do as well with $1.00 spray paint from Walmart.
Yes, clear coat will give it a glossy finish, and protect it. With out a clear coat the paint wont last long. I suggest doing some homework on painting.

Yes, clear coat is where most of the shine will come from. Check out the painting and color sanding section in the how-to and FAQ sticky at the top of this section for a step-by-step to an excellent finished product.
I took the two cans of primer and paint back and got my money. I will just bring it to a small bodyshop in town and have him do it professionally as well as the nose
that needs it .

Avoid this rip-off.
Dupli-Color Lettering... man you really wanna stand out.
The paint itself is not that glossy. You have to get the clearcoat.
I painted the roof on my SUV cherry red and once it dried up it was dull. Once I hit it with clearcoat the shine came out.
I sprayed my whole bumper with duplicolor primer, paint and clear and it came out pretty good. I was pretty surprised considering my 0 experience.Gotta do the research and work if you want anything to look good.

X2 you can't expect show car quality paint if you're rattle caning... Especially if you didn't hit it with clear coat.
