  • New hood and paint

Well wanted to stop by on the old v6 forum and say hi. I just came back from a year long deployment and wanted to show you the update on the car. While I was gone, my wife got into a little accident with the RS. No big deal since the car is my DD. So while I was away I started ordering parts. New bumper, hood, paint, and fixed most of the body work that needed to be done. Did all the work myself over the past couple of weeks. Hope you guys like it.

Wow! That looks really nice. Did you repaint the whole thing or just the bumper / hood? The reflection in the 2nd pic of the rear quarter looks like it was never even dented. Was this done at home? I can't tell if the green hues in the concrete are reflections off the car or residue from a paint job.

Also - is that a monte carlo in the garage next to a vette under the cover?
96 White M5 Camaro. Manual everything. Magnaflow cat, dynomax dual outlet axle back. Swapped to a disc rear with 3.42s and a torsen differential, kyb gr2 rear shocks, moog rear endlinks.

Thanks guys. I sprayed the hood, bumper, rear quarter, and front drivers fender. The fender had a crack in it from when it was in Alaska. The pass fender was okay in the accident. All of it was done in the garage.

Its a 79 El Camino and next to it is my 04 vette. The older vette and bikes are parked behind the two.

The hood is a glasstek 4 inch.

1997Canadian3.8 the wheels are Eagle Alloys 077. I dont think they make the wheels anymore. I might be switching the wheels out for my stock C5 five spokes that I have sitting in the garage. I am trying to figure if they will look good on the car.

Thanks once again everyone for the compliments.
