Hey guys, I've been in the market for new tires and wheels for a while to replace the 16" snowflakes on my 2000 NBM Camaro. I've been looking at getting 17X9 Anthracite TTMs with 275/40/17 rubber. However, recently I've been pricing the polished aluminum TT2.1s and if I go with a 17x8 wheel I can get a good deal on 245/45/17 rubber making the 17x8 TT2.1 wheel/tire combo the same price as the 17x9 TTM combo.
My question is, if I go with a 17x8 wheel what would be the proper wheel offset and backspacing?
