      Re: New 4" cowl hood

well ya cant beat it for $200 :p I just dont see whats so bad about my cowl hood. I love the way the SS hoods and the cowls look. Just because it's a v6 doesnt mean i cant make it look good. I didnt mean it as a bash towards anyone with an ss hood either tho

yea but a 4" cowl? shouldna went sunoco or something. Its not about looking good, when people come up and ask whats under the hood and you say v6, ppl are gonna rofl. its actually boarder line rice.

              Re: New 4" cowl hood

Seems to be no different than people putting SS or other aftermarket panels on their cars. Look at how many people, including me, have black Berger panels on their V6.

I do find it funny when V8 owners put a Sunoco hood on their stock LS1. It's obviously only for looks. Just like this one.

A sunoco hood is classy, and doesn't sway from the lines of a camaro at all. When I see a big square cowl hood, all I can think of is a huge nose lol but obviously some people need them for clearance.

I think it looks good on 93-97 Camaros not the newer 98+.

I was gonna buy one for mine but I soon realized id be a poser so I'm planning on modding my stocker hood to be something cool.

If you had a Turbo or the Top end swap it would be sick!

Thought I would update this thread. After almost a year of not having my car I finally found someone to paint it.I think it turned out damn good for only having about $1500 total in paint, labor, and the hood. I pick it up saturday. I gotta put a battery and some new tires on her and shes good to go. I know my 6'er doesnt deserve that big cowl, but an Ls1 swap isn't too far away!

Love the color too. Don't mind the size of the cowl, just the sharp edge. The hood is so round and has so many curves, the flat part seems out of place. But its your car, still good looking

yea I know I wish I could of afforded a sunoco hood or something. But I had to work with a budget. Got the hood for $500 shipped so it wasn't too bad of a deal.
