First thing's first: ditch that awful spoiler. Not my choice in color but looks to be in decent shape. You have an engine/tranny to drop in?

going to pick up a buick lucerne/lacrosse engine with 10K on it next month for $350. The spoiler is going to have to stay on for now, im not putting another one on it unless its the same color.

It's not that straight forward if you dont have the original 3.8L - You're ganna need the Camaro Accessories, Oil Pan, intake manifold, and other misc parts so its ganna cost a bit more than $350 - what are you doing for a transmission? Staying M5?

Ever consider a L67 Swap? That would be sweet but would take a bit of custom work, but since you're starting with nothing you have nothing to lose...or atleast an L67 bottom end and turbo...

Maybe even a truck V8?(4.8, 5.3 can be had pretty cheap)

He has the engine an trans from it also. It overheated an locked up or something so the guy pulled it to fix it an then decided not to. Probably because he was only looking for a Camaro/bird 3.8 an didn't want to pay the asking prices for them. People around here swear up an down you cant use one of the fwd engines in these cars.

I've already done the L26 swap on mine so he should be good to go on all that as long as everything is there with the oe motor. I haven't had time to check it out in person yet.

The plan for it right now (as far as I know) is to stab an L26 in it an get it back running.....

It's nice. That's a rare color for the camaro. As soon as you can, definately ditch that Wing West spoiler.

So far im staying L26 and going to daily drive it to save fuel from my 11 MPG truck.

As far as I know I will need an oil pan and a pickup tube if its cheap, the original pan is damaged and it has a stripped bolt still holding it on. Im going to go ahead change the a/c system while its torn down. I hope to have less than $800 in the build, so we shall see.

It'll be worth putting it back on the road, that's good looking body. I think ya got it for a good price.
