camaro fitment parts on a bird

before i look at buying one...

I'm curious if the plastic gauge cluster (big plastic part that covers the gauges, goes around the left vent, headlight switch (behind steering wheel)) for a 98-02 camaro will also fit on a 98-02 bird.

I think the left vent area is a little different (that's actually what i'm looking for) on the camaro's, but i want to make sure everything else is the same and that that piece will snap into place on my bird.

oops.....nevermind.
It looks like what i'm thinking of are completely different pieces.

after looking online, i found the site that shows what i was thining of doing, but it appears it won't work with my bird. Here's the link from ls1.com:

anyone know of a way to do an install like that on a bird?

i dont think ts possible , cause the ac vent is right behind there . so you would have to block it out or re-route it. . also a camaros dash is more square and a firebirds is round. but if you can manufacture parts or mold on that edge for your bird then no prob you just have to figure it out . how you gana do it. i gata admit that dash piece and that small screen is preaty cool. its a nice touch. :)

yeah, i'm not really concerned about blocking the vent. i didn't realize at first that the parts were different. I don't see how i could do this on a bird. oh well....back to the drawing board.
