I've been looking at changing my hood on my 94 camaro and found this. http://www.octanemotorsports.com/93-...-p-132624.html
Has anyone purchased one or dealt with this manufacturer? Looking for a decent fit and non-wavy hood. Any other suggestions or manufacturers of similar style hood.
i too am looking for a cf hood (have the hatch already) when it comes to carbon fiber vis and seibon are usually the big names cuz there quality is much better, carbon creations aka extreme dimensions is great also but is kinda like a cheaper brand..never honestly used them before but thats the story...i was looking at that hood also but i like this better..u should search on ebay instead since u can make offers
I feel like half these hoods aren't functional SS hoods, or functional reverse cowls. That's my biggest pet peeve when I am personally looking for one of these (I don't know about you) but I want good fitment and a functional hood. I bet you could pull an air intake off an SS and make it work with the hood on our cars without much work...that would be cool

andysautosport is reputable but its still the same hoods on ebay and anywhere else...and to answer your question about how functional the hoods are..the ss one doesnt have a cutout so its fake although i do believe the vis scoop is real
My SS fiberglass hood weighed about 20lbs, got it on craigslist for $200, only reason I got it.

i bought a functional fiberglass cowl hood from a junkyard that sells some aftermarket camaro/firebird stuff... its definitely heavier than my steel hood lol. and the alignment pretty well sucks, not so much the gaps left to right. but the height along the fender. just throwing that out there. still looks sexy.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
