map light bulbs

so I bought replacement LED bulbs for the map lights and I was told they were 214-2 bulbs(festoon style or whatever) and I bought them using carid.com's bulb replacement guide, which confirmed it but when I took the mirror out and went to replace the bulbs, they look like 194 bulbs, definently no way a 214-2 could fit...
anyone have this problem?

I think the 214-2 is the dome light over the rear seats. The mirror is 194's/168's.

yeah that's what it appears to be now that i got the bulbs out. I guess the moral of the story is check the bulbs first before purchasing...I'm just surprised that slyvania's auto replacement guide said they were 214-2 bulbs when they aren't anything close.

just like slyvania says the "cargo area/dome light" is a 561 bulb, not the 214-2.

they changed the mirrors around 99-00 to the 194 style bulb, the early models use the long bulbs

I guess slyvania didn't get the memo. Do you know what the little bulbs in the door switch bezel are for an 02?
