SO, I'm sure this has happened to some of you...maybe not I dunno. I was on the freeway on my way into work this morning going about 80mph and all of a sudden, my passenger T-Top flies off!!! I haven't had those things off in years. YEARS. they're even locked. There's no apparent damage to the vehicle and everything seems to be fine. didn't hit any bumps or any sharp cornering that would cause a large amount of body flex. So.... where do I get a replacement near the Cleveland area? also is it worth going back and looking for the shattered top for the plastic locking piece??
THANKS!:bs:
Thats sucks. Were your either of your windows down? I found a place on ebay that sells I think its 98 and up t-tops that are clear. I guess some years had dot matrix on them. But its $75 shipped for either divers side or passenger side. Then just have it rekeyed at a locksmith. I'll see if I can find the ebay link.

happens pretty often. hell i saw one fly off a guys turbo z28 at the drag strip once, bet it went a good 100 feet in the air then exploded when it hit the black top lol. Hard tops FTW
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
Best I found was $80 shipped on ebay motors. If I was you I would install subframe connectors to help in reducing body flex. It might help plus it makes the car handle better.
