  • Going to raise my seats 1”

Decided to raise my Corbeau seats 1” . Pretty much doing it to see better and take the seats in and out easier. Used Sparco seat brackets so pretty much on the floor. I can do the driver’s seat because I use my right hand to get the back 2 nuts. But on the passenger side I can’t get the back 2 nuts off because I can’t use my left hand to get the nuts off do to my stroke. Doesn’t help I’m left handed also. Going to try a universal kit off eBay. Will let you know how it goes. Going to have my mechanic do the passenger side hopefully for the last time.

Yeah, I’m 6’4-6’5” but I measured myself in the Camaro and will still clear the headliner. Give me more visibility over the cowl hood and should be able to take the seats out by myself without any help. The Sparco seat brackets are a lot lower than stock. I’ll try it can always put it back the way it was. Doing the drivers side tomorrow.

Got drivers side done , the kit bolted right up to my Corbuea seats. Probably took 30-45 minutes. Here’s some pics Also when looking at my seat brackets their Corbuea not Sparco, I always thought they were Sparco.

Was thinking make sure you leave enough clearance for a helmet if you might do events that require them. Nice that is was easy!

Looks like I’ll probably take the spacers out. Not really liking it. Although it helps me see over the 2.5” cowl hood, kinda cramped.
