    Can you make it functional on a 3800. Everywhere i've read said it only works on z28s. I think I like the ss hood better than the ultra z hood.

    yeah they sell a airbox, all you have to is cut a hole, the airbox for the z style hood will work

      I have the SLP "Ultra-Z" hood, I believe the air flows in under the air box. The air box on a stock Camaro, is raised a little if you look at it. That's how it is on my Dad's SS to. Looks like the air that comes in from the hood, flows right into the gap there. I'm not sure what those special air boxes that they tell you to buy are for. I have a Whisper air lid.
      2002 Camaro SS, 6 speed, SLP Loudmouth, TR 224/224 Camshaft(valvetrain upgraded), Pro 5.0 shifter / Hurst classic black knob.

        I have the slp ram air kit, would I have to that off than?
