  • Non Pop Up Headlights for 93-97 birds....

I'm considering having a custom non-popup headlight fabricated for the 93-97 Firebirds/TransAms and making it avaliable for a low cost, hopefully in the range of $100-$150 a pair with bulbs, would anyone be interested in this as long as they worked well and looked good? They would line up with the factory hood perfectly and would be flat on top like the stock headlight covers but would be clear and the lights would bolt in at a fixed position that was correctly aimed. This would use the newer style of twist in bulbs as well instead of the huge square enclosed bulbs like stock.

They make them for the 98+ birds not the old ones, oh and they're $999, not $100-150.

Well there doesnt seem to be much interest but I'm doing it for myself anyways, it's coming to about $125 including the sylvania silverstars. Will put pics up when done, and it WILL look good. The setup will be a custom fit metal bracket backing with an acrylic high temp plastic cover custom cut to fit the shape of the headlight covers and a receiving hole in the back of the covers to hold the silverstars which will also be modified for the firebird plugs.

Yeah, it sounds interesting, but I know I would wait to see pictures of it first.
