how do u think they did it? can i do that by myself? its weird it looks like the door was made custom then too because it looks like it finishes it off!

no the door is OEM, the part in front of the wheel is custom, so it look like it finishes the bumper.

that bumper, while not my style, is cool looking. Not somethign easily built :(

to my knowledge, no aftermarket front of back bumpers are available for the 98-02 firebirds :(

that's the bird of prey bodykit, it's a one shot deal and the company that made it has no plans on making any more. Although I beleave they told someone on here that they would make them one like it for $50,000.00 Yes I said 50k.

thats alot of labor to make one of those... fiberglassing and sanding, I wouldn't want to do it.

thats not entirely true, there was a company that was selling the package deal, but they weren't the creators of the bird of prey car. i think they sold a few kits and didn't have much interest in them and discontinued them, there are probably some floating around somewhere, hell they might even sell them... i'll have to find that site...

Seriously though, anything can be done if you have the money and if you want it that much. Our bodyshop has done some pretty off the wall things. If you look real carefully. If you know a lot about car bodykits, you'll see a lot of import kits have have the same exact style rear (exhaust cutouts, licenplate frame) some even have the same exact vents on the sides. I wasn't there, but they might have molded a different bodykit to the lines of a trans-am bumper. Yes it is complicated to an extent, but to a fabricator, he could do it w/ no problem. Just show that picture, what you want, and you start from there.

you can make it out of fiberglass, or similar materials fairly easily.

But to do it oem grade, out of a urathane material, that will last, requires a mold, and the expense that comes with that ;)

If you're going to go throught the hassel of making a mold, you should try to get a few people to get them as well because it will probably cost around the same to make 5 as it does to make 1 and it will lower the overall cost.
