Just go to dealerships and get estimates from them DO NOT go where ur insurance TELLS you to go... use this , " I only trust the dealership where my grandfather gets his car worked on"<hr></blockquote>
New my azz, it's not up to the dealership, it's what the insurance policy states. If it states LKQ or PXN guess what? You get exactly that, only way to get OEM is if they can't find any LKQ or PXN. Another thing about dealers is they charge you up the arse for labor rate and for initial estimates they WILL write it up for oem parts, but when an appraiser or adjust comes around, you will end up with what the guidelines of your policy states. Not many insurance give oem replacements. And since they charge so much and your car is getting old, it might cross the total loss threshold and your car will get totalled. You can buy it back, but as a salvage title.
