Does anyone know how much these V-Tech Taillight Covers cost? I think they look pretty sweet. They can also be painted to match the color of my car. I like my blackouts but I recently got a warning for having them on, so I can't use them anymore.
Thanks

I know you didn't ask for oppinions but i don't care anyway ;)

i don't like them, they remind me of the covers a saw on a riced-out jetta, looked like the guy just made them himself.

check your local laws. most states adopt chapter 49 of the Federal Code of Regulations. that means you can have nothing, notta, zip, on your tail lights. if you got a warning with the blackouts, expect a warning/ticket for these covers.

DV got to this one before I can, in FL you have to have atleast 2 completely unobstructed red brakelights.

so put a custom red "4th" brake light inside/top of rear hatch, then u got 2 red unobstructed brakelights . if they try and tell you the hatch is obstructing, then ask what the bulbs in the back lights are housed in. then if they get smart and say plastic, remind him that #1 so is the 4th brake light, #2 a clean glass is less obstructing than a clean plastic

word of warning, they look better in pics than in real life...

they have no "depth" to them, which does make them look very cheesy. I see them all the time at UCF, both tail & head lights, and I can tell right away that they don't look real.

I like em.

I'll bet you could cut them out in whatever shape you like. (You would need some pretty sharp tools and whatnot...)
