DONT use tire shine on the seals. at least not on the rubber strips that the window rolls into. i used armorall on themt about 3 months ago and it is still getting on my windows every time i roll them down. and that stuff is hard to get off

If ur talkin about the belt strip, I use silicone spray on them and having good results, mine still looks brand spankin new. It was made for keeping rubbers supple, like the weatherstrips, which I also use it for. I also use it on the hinges when they start to squeak.

I think this Meguiar's Gold Class Trim stuff is pretty good:

i use Mother's dashboard preserve on the seals...good for all your plastic/vinyl/rubber needs. it will put some residue on the window where it touches the seal...not a big deal imho-my windows are always down anyways. but my seals are still very supple.

don't use armorall btw...it's bad. it'll dry out your seals
