alright i have been looking for some black aftermarket rims lately and 9 times out of 10 the rims i see that i like are chrome. every once in a while ill find some gunmetel or something but i was wondering if i bought some non black rims how hard would it be to make those rims go from Chrome to black?

also just so i know whats the offset and width of the tires on a 97 bird. and what should it be if i were to buy 17s?

a lot of rims could be bought in a non-chrome finish. you'd be wasting money buying a wheel in chrome and then getting it painted. just ask whoever you're buying from if you can get it in a bare metal finish, or even a painted finish.

also i love shiny **** just as much as the next guy but when you have a silver bird and want to highlight a black racing strip being put on black contrasts better then plan everyday chrome...

Its not an eight lug, its 2 sets of 4 lugs.
Still might not make it in 5-4.75 though...
