Ok, the 98+ RS had chrome 16' ZR-1 rims, Z28 exhaust, black heritage stripes, and only came in silver or red, not to mention a code on the door sticker. Not sure about the body kit, though.(I have heard rumors of a NBM RS, but haven't seen any proof) Am I wrong about any of these facts?
I have a buddy who has a black 99 Camaro V6 and he insists that it is an RS just because it's a V6. No stripes, alloy 5 spoke rims, single exhaust pipe, and no body kit.
"That's what RS means, a Z28 has a V8, the SS is a Z28 with appearance, suspension, and minor engine modifications, and the RS is the V6 model."
It's just kind of irritating really, if he wants to be a poser, let him, but I am just making sure I am getting the facts right. Help me out here, people.
All RSs are V6s. That does not go both ways. All V6s are not RSs.
Feel free to add any info to this.
