I highly doubt you could do anything with them, you could chrome them and they'd still look like crap imho. Sell em or use them for auto-x/drag racing. Btw, camaro wheels are salad shooters ;)

I think painting them black will make the salad shooters look the best salad shooters will ever look.

Wow, thanks for the input. I have "real" rims, I'd just like to think that the old stock ones I have in my garage have some use...

uhhhh why would you want to switch to salad shooters? Do you not have those chrome 5 spokes?

Wouldn't stock 94 firebird wheels be called salad shooters too? Maybe they look more like cheese graters?

I'm doing the same thing as you. My salads will be put to use this winter, so I can save my chrome 17's for nicer weather.
Do like loochy said, and paint the salads black with a polished lip Maybe even a polished center cap too ;)
Even though the salad shooters aren't the best looking rims out there, they still look better than the stock 93 firebird rims...yuk!

what is winter ;)

... but serious, painting them a gunmetal color might make for a unique look.

I always thought "flower power" when I saw those wheels.

I checked with a local powder coating co. They said $80 each to sand blast & paint. Lots of angles to blast is why it would take so long to blast them. If its just for winter I would clean the hell out of them & spray them with a quality rattle can.(Is there a quality rattle can?)
