This has been the best investment I've ever made towards the quality of the paint on my car. The PC7424 is hands down the king of random orbital buffers. My paint is trully swirl free now, scratch free, and its spotless (literally). The depth of the shine is out of this world after I waxed it. I tried liquid glass but I wasn't fond of it, its not very slick, so I think I'm going back to my old ways of using #26 Meguiars... its a lot cheaper.
Here's the products I used:

This stuff rocks, its a lot better than the normal swirl remover they sell and it doesn't leave swirls. It buffs off cleanly and I can't get over how well it works. With a foam pad at 5,000RPM it does a good cleaning job, at 6,000RPM I can heatbuff scratches right out of the clearcoat.

I used just the yellow ones, and they're not bad at all. They definetly work well and are very durable.
And of course the buffer I got from coastal tool:

This buffer came with the velcro backing plate and new counter weight, for $120, its the best deal on the net. :D
If you have a dark car, or you have problemed paint, buy these things. They have rougher polishes, like the 3M Rubbing compounds, but I think for most paint out there this is all thats needed. Its well worth spending a day on your car and having fun with this buffer. I'll post some photos when it stops raining :( Thankgod for my car cover
