    My new racing seats!!!!

    I just bought seem new racing seats from APC... the the bolt patterns do not match up on the seats and the car.. I know that you can get them to fit.. I have a few ideas on how to make them work.. but i was just wondering if maybe any of you had any ideas on how to make fit.. if you do please let me know.. and if you have any pics of your racing seats email them to me at chuck_d75@yahoo.com that would be a big help also please let me know what you did to get yours to fit...
    APC said they do not have kit for them but they said i could get them to work... please share if you have any ideas..

    Its called an adapter bracket....most places that sell racing seats have them.

      Dude I just did the same thing, got the seats on ebay and they look great but don't fit. I called the guys who sold it to me and they gave me the # for APC but said that they don't make brackets for their seats and I'll have to get them custom bolted to the floor, I don't mind doing that but I just want to make sure that there aren't any other ways to go before I start drillin holes in the floor.

        I know that is the samething here with me.. they told me the samething and all. i called one of the shops here arounfd in my area and they said that they could make me some to make them fit but they were talking about like around 450 bucks for both... i am still looking to try and find what would be the best thing to do.. if i here anything ill will let you know.. but if you find out anything please let me know

          Should be easy if you can live with a fixed position.

          If you want them to be adjustable it will be harder.

          measurements from the factory seat to say the gas pedal, gives you a reference for seating location.

          Get some channle iron and put the factory mounting holes in the same place.

          It will take a little math, but you should be able to do it, mark the holes and drill them.

          Seems like an easy job.

            Can't you just take out the adjustable bracket thing from the stock seats and use that?

              you can get brackets from places like thunderracing.com for 75 bucks.. prolly will fit those APCs.. most places sell them.. shouldnt be too much of a problem

                  hey man The seats are badA$$, and they only cost me 230 bucks for the pair. So you go get another type of seat!

                    $230 for a pair? Not bad, but are they decent quality? BTW, dont dont bolt seats right to the floor -- some sort of safety issue with needing a bracket.
                    Good luck!
                    Just read on a site that the sport seats are 35 lbs each ... is that much savings, at all? For reclinable, maybe ... but darn.

                      the apc seats are nearly as heavy as the stock seats
