  • New stingray hood!!

ok guys i just ordered my new stingray hood from VFN, and ive already go some ideas for it.everyone tells me that it looks stupid b/c the front of the scoop isnt even cut out. well they asked me if i wanted them to cut it for me. the rear/cowl is already cut out also. on the front of my car i pulled of that air dam thing, went to lowes anf got some gutter gaurd and secured it in the little side things. my car is metallic silver and i have a blue undercar kit. im going to use some of that "grill insert"/ gutter gaurd in the front scoop of the new hood, and stick a blue neon back in there out of sight so it will glow blue from the scoop. think thatll look good? im soo excited!
    peace

I had blue neon all over my car for about 2 years and never once got a ticket for it.

This is like the post about the T/A w/the neons in the nostrils. Check local Fire/Police Dept regarding those colors. Red will most likely not fly. Blue you might be able to get a "waiver", something in writing saying it's for non-emergancy use or something like that.

depends on the colors. California law is any color except red shown in the front, has to be below a certain brightness, and no bulbs showing. also, no flashing, strobing, ect.

Each state is different. check the state DMV codes for verification. I have the law for Cali printed out and in my glove box in case anyone wanted to give me a hard time.

I use two red neons to make my ram-air "nostrils" grow. The glow is definitely not bright enough to be seen from more than 10 feet away when my headlights are on. I live in a state where they give out tickets all the time for neons, yet I leave them on all the time and dont get pulled over.

My "glow" is subtle enough that it cannot be seen from too far away, and it looks pretty sweet too.

                    Silver

Sorry my post was kinda weird to understad. I was asking Riles if he had any pictures of the neons in his nostrils. I'm kinda curious to see what it looks like

Silver, do you have a sound clip of your exhaust....I'm wanted to get 3" but I would like to see how loud it is compared to mine as it is now

naw i dont have any sound clips, it sounds like most other v6 camaros. with the 3 inch i think its a little bit louder and a lot raspier up high than 2.5, but i like it.
