My car isn't white, but I've had the rear finish panel painted black for a few years now, and lots of compliments -especially with the matching stripes (click on my website below).
I think it would look good on a white camaro, and I think white inlays would look good :cool:
I went with chrome inlays because I have chrome emblems and rims to match.
speaking of those stripes, my friend bought a 95 z that somebody had put those stripes on and he doesnt want them on anymore... How exactly do you get the stripes off without messing the paint up??

Peel'em slowly. I removed one stripe from my rear panel because it had too many air bubbles in it. I peeled it off without any problems. It doesn't come off with ease, but it will peel off.
Got mine from them, the more common colors will probably cost a little more but a second one is a better idea imo because you can just swap colors. I need to get red inlays on mine because it looks odd black with the exhaust now. Check mine out
If you really want to know what it'll look like cover your piece with black vinyl.
